The Massachusetts Water Pollution Control Association is a non-profit organization established in 1965 by wastewater treatment plant operators. The Association was formed to make available education and training, and to promote the exchange of information among its members so they can be made more knowledgeable and effective in providing excellent water quality throughout Massachusetts.
The Massachusetts Water Pollution Control Association represents operators, professionals and both privately and publicly owned wastewater treatment facilities throughout the State. Throughout the years the MWPCA has grown considerably in its membership and now includes many individuals from engineering firms, privately owned industries and students as well.
The Massachusetts Water Pollution Control Association is a not-for-profit professional organization dedicated to water quality practitioners throughout the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Much of our mission is to provide educational opportunities to our members through quarterly educational seminars and specialty training courses to help our members to excel and advance in their profession. Another important MWPCA role is serving as an advocate for water quality professionals by promoting sound regulatory policy to protect both public and environmental health.
In order to maintain our high level of educational offerings and advocacy for our profession, we need and appreciate your help and support. To facilitate your assistance in these efforts, we have attached a link to our 2013 Sponsorship Form that details upcoming MWPCA events for which sponsorship/participation opportunities exist and that can also help you to promote your goods and services to our over 800 members and by extension to the entire Massachusetts water quality industry. Some of this year’s premier MWPCA events are our annual golf tournament, annual trade show, and four educational seminars. We also welcome the prospect of discussing any event or sponsorship opportunity of interest to you that is not already listed on our form.
Proceeds from our events are used by the MWPCA to sponsor such activities as scholarships for MWPCA member participation in the NEIWPCC Management Training Program, member attendance on Operator’s Day at NEWEA’s Annual Conference in Boston, the New England operator exchange program, and our Massachusetts Operations Challenge team. We at the MWPCA are proud to provide these and other benefits as we strive to offer true value to our membership and the profession, and your participation is a vital factor in these endeavors.
