The nominee shall be a Superintendent of Chief Operator who has exemplified outstanding service and achievement in the operation and maintenance of a municipal or industrial wastewater treatment plant. The nominee must be a Massachusetts Water Pollution Control Association member in good standing. Nominations for this award shall be submitted in writing on the Awards Nomination Form by any association member in good standing. Nominators shall fully set forth the basis upon which the nomination is made and shall sign the nomination. Each nomination shall be evaluated by the Awards Committee. This award may be given annually at the discretion of the Awards Committee.
The nominee will have rendered distinguished service to the Massachusetts Water Pollution Control Association as related to committee work, completion of special assignments, and facilitation of administrative tasks in any way or in any area. The nominee must be a Massachusetts Water Pollution Control Association member in good standing. Nominations for this award shall be submitted in writing on the Awards Nomination Form by any association member in good standing. Nominators shall fully set forth the basis upon which the nomination is made and shall sign the nomination. This award will consist of an appropriate plaque and gold wrist watch; engraved on the back of the watch will be: Massachusetts Water Pollution Control Association, the date, and the nominee's name. Each nomination shall be evaluated by the Awards Committee. This award may be given annually at the discretion of the Awards Committee.
The nominee will be any person who has held active membership in good standing for ten (10) years and has retired. The nominee must be elected a Life Member by a unanimous vote of the Board of Directors and shall be exempt from any further dues with all the rights and privileges of an active member. This award shall consist of an Identification Card. Nominations for this award must be submitted in writing on the Awards Nomination Form by any association member in good standing. Each nomination shall be evaluated by the Awards Committee. This award will be given annually at the MWPCA awards presentation to any successful nominees.

The nominee must have demonstrated long-term dedication and exemplary service to the water pollution control profession and must have been employed in the industry for more than forty years. This individual must have shared their knowledge and experience with those following in their footsteps and worked to promote the professional status of this industry. The nominee must have been a member in good standing of the Massachusetts Water Pollution Control Association, for a minimum of 10 years, who has participated in quarterly meetings. Nominations for this award shall be submitted in writing on the Awards Nomination Form by any association member in good standing. The nominator(s) shall set forth the basis on which the nomination is made and shall sign the nomination. Each nomination shall be evaluated by the Awards Committee.
