The DEP Training
Center is located in Millbury on Route 20 approximately 1/4 mile West from the
intersection of Routes 20 and 146. It is located on the grounds of the Upper
Blackstone Water Pollution Abatement District (UBWPAD).
The name of the new access road is Nippnapp Trail. It is approximately 100
yards west of the previous entrance. Upon entering Nippnapp
Trail you will turn right at first intersection which is clearly signed Upper Blackstone
Water Pollution Abatement District. After turning into the entrance of the plant from Nippnapp
Trail the DEP Training Center parking lot will be your first left directly before a
security gate. The parking lot is also clearly signed. There is a pedestrian walkway out
of the parking lot leading to the DEP Training Center. Please be careful when crossing the
plant access road as many sludge and septage haulers use it and visibility is limited due
to trees. The DEP Training Center is a one
story blue metal building directly across the
road from the parking lot. The DEP Training

From
the North:
Access Route 20
from Route 495 South to Route 290 West OR ... Route 190 South to Route 290 West. From Route 290
West take Exit 12 (Brosnihan Square, Route 146 South).
From the exit ramp, proceed underneath the Route 290 bridge and bear right
following the Route 146 signs. Stay on Route
146 South until the Route 20 West Exit. Follow
the signs for Route 20 West, at the third light turn right onto Nippnapp Trail.
From
the South:
From 146 North
take the Route 20 West Exit. Stay in the right hand lane and at the fourth set of lights
turn right onto
Nippnapp Trail.
OR
Access Route 20
from Route 395 North. Take the Route 20 East
Exit and continue on Route 20 East through 2 sets of lights. As you approach the Auburn/Worcester line, look
for a Wendys restaurant on your left and a McDonalds restaurant on your right for
landmarks. Proceed straight through the third
set of lights located immediately after these restaurants and Nippnapp Trail will be on your left at the fourth set of lights
OR
From 495 North to
the MA Pike West Exit 10A (Worcester/Providence). Go
through the toll booth and make a left turn at the light following signs to Route 20 West. Continue straight through the second set of lights
and stay in the right lane turning right at the third set of lights onto Nippnapp Trail.
From
the East:
From the MA Pike
to Exit 10A (Worcester/Providence). Go
through the toll booth and make a left turn at the light following
signs to Route 20 West. Continue straight
through the second set of lights and stay in the right
lane turning right at the third set of lights onto
Nippnapp Trail.

from Route 290 West to the Exit 12 (Brosnihan Square, Route 146 South). At the end of the exit ramp, proceed underneath
the Route 290 bridge and bear right following the signs for Route 146. Stay on Route 146 South until the Route 20 West Exit. Take this exit, turn right at the fourth set of lights onto Nippnapp Trail.
From the West:
From the MA Pike
to Exit 10A (Worcester/Providence). Go

following signs to Route 20 West. Continue
