Wastewater Treatment?

Here's some links to some great websites.

Wastewater Information - This is an excellent site that answers a lot of questions like "What is water pollution?", "How is it measured?", and "How is it treated?" plus many, many links. The author Joel Gordon (a.k.a. Flush Gordon) is the Chemist at the Pittsfield, Ma Wastewater Treatment Facility.

Virtual Wastewater Tour - Want to get up close and personal (but not too close and not too personal) with wastewater? Take the virtual tour of the Springfield (Massachusetts) Regional Wastewater Treatment Facility. It's the next best thing to being there. Another nicely done website is the Green Bay (Wisconsion) Metropoltin Sewerage District facilities.

Books and Teaching Programs - The Water Environment Federation is one of the worlds leading environmental organizations dedicated to clean water. Their website bookstore contains a huge amount of technical information on a wide variety of subjects including public outreach and education.

Waterwiser.Org - Many ideas, resources, and links for using water wisely.

Kids page - The Minnesota Pollution Control Agency has an interesting site with a lot of neat features.

MWPCA Poster Contest - The Massachusetts Water Pollution Control Association sponsors a Clean Water Week Poster contest yearly. Contact us by email to learn more
